1. Introduction
This warranty policy ("Warranty") covers domestic appliances sold by Gap Renew Ltd, ("we," "us," or "our") within England and Wales. The warranty applies to the original purchaser ("you" or "your") of the appliance and is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Period
The warranty period commences from the date of purchase and continues for a period of 12 months ("Warranty Period").
3. Scope of Warranty
During the Warranty Period, we warrant that your appliance will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use and service.
4. What the Warranty Covers
If a defect arises during the Warranty Period that is covered under this Warranty, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the defective appliance at no cost.
- Replace the defective appliance or part with a new or refurbished product or part.
- Issue a full refund for the value of the order if either of the two options above are not achievable (see Repair and Replacement Terms below).
5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by:
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Failing to follow manufacturer's instructions.
- Unauthorised repair or modification.
- Accidental damage (including fire, flood, and lightning).
- Power surges or other external factors.
- Failure to perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, descaling, or other user-performed maintenance.
- Consumables and accessories (e.g., filters, batteries, light bulbs, etc.).
- Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, or discoloration).
- Normal wear of the appliance.
6. How to Make a Claim
To make a warranty claim, you can either:
- Complete the warranty application form which can be found at warranty.renew2u.co.uk or tap on the button below, we'll get in touch with you for any further information we might require.
- Or, contact our customer service team via email at hello@renew2u.co.uk but please provide the information outlined below;
- Proof of purchase (e.g., a receipt or order confirmation).
- A description of the fault or defect with supportive evidence.
We will assess your claim and may request that we collect the appliance for inspection or repair. If the appliance is to be returned, we will provide instructions and arrange the shipment at no cost to you.
7. Repair and Replacement Terms
- If we repair or replace your appliance, the repaired or replaced product will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
- Replacement products or parts may be new or refurbished.
- If a direct replacement cannot be sought, a similar replacement will be offered, e.g. an appliance with the same or upgraded key features
- If this is not suitable and you have been in possession of your appliance for over 90 days we'll refund via gift voucher for the original value of the order (including any original shipping costs) which is redeemable via our website or through our retail store.
8. Limitations of Liability
Our liability under this Warranty is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the defective appliance. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, data, or income, arising out of the use or inability to use the appliance.
9. Statutory Rights
This Warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You may have additional remedies in relation to defective or faulty products under these rights.
10. Governing Law
This Warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
